Another terrorist attack in the United States will occur.

Unfortunately the government is now operating with such a broad concept of terrorist attack that many things that are entirely local, or deal with or result from the hostility of a small domestic group will fall in this category.

The more interesting question is whether foreign sponsored or international groups like Bin Laden’s will attack again. The answer is an unequivocal yes. The attacks may or may not be of the same sort we have experienced.

There would be advantages in the same kind of mass killing. On the other hand there would be some advantages in other kinds of actions that would cause economic pain through actions that directly hit corporations or our infrastructure e.g. telecommunications.
